"An invasion of armies can be resisted, but not the invasion of ideas." - Victor Hugo
How do I say THANK YOU for sage advice in the professional arena over the years? Let me start by saying I have known Pete for a number of years, first, as he was a customer of mine, that relationship evolved into him being a mentor and friend.
Pete has provided me with his insight into the world of business. He has the unique ability to craft a message that I can easily understand, while making it fun, interesting, and most Importantly, a memorable lesson.
I only wish I had met Pete earlier in my sales career. Interpersonal skills are close to his heart, as well as a passion for customer service. His coaching, enthusiasm and energy continue to help me ‘keep my saw sharp’ in my every day journey to ‘close the deal’. He keeps the ideas flowing, is extremely organized and regularly provides me an opportunity to step outside of my persona.
By keeping me focused, Pete has given me the tools to take a good look at where I am heading.

"As a business owner it is
easy for me to be 'busy.' Every time I consult with
Pete we figure out together the high leverage activities that need to be
focused on.
It reduces my stress and keeps my business able to stay focused on
sales. It's not only
what he says but his credibility behind it that makes all of the
difference to me. I've
tried finding holes in his experience, situations he has not run across,
and I've yet
to stump him."

Like many
others in business I have been doing what I do a long time. I opened
Wilderness Taxidermy thirty years ago at age nineteen. I know about
taxidermy. I also know there are areas that I need professional advice,
we all do. Lawyers, doctors, mechanics to name but a few.
Smith and Chesson has been an invaluable source of business insight
and information to me for over two decades. Their expertise spans a wide
variety of venues, from modern technologies and the Internet to
marketing. Helping to avoid potential problems in the future is another
area in which they have been most adroit.
The larger your island of knowledge, the longer your shoreline of
uncertainty. Many of you are experts in your chosen endeavor.
Let Smith and Chesson help you grow further with a new paradigm you may
not have visualized. I can not recommend them highly enough. It will be
well worth your time to talk with them and see what new paths are open
to your business that you may not have found on your own.

During the past 10 years of my acquaintance and friendship with Pete, I have always known him to be a very resourceful person. Just give him a problem to solve or a challenge to tackle and let him loose. He is able to instinctively tap into his repertoire of talents, especially in the areas of sales and marketing. He'll not only sell snow to Eskimos, but he'll make them repeat customers. He can sell and market to men and women in completely different ways. He has an uncanny way of knowing how men and women work, how they are wired to respond. Listen to this guy!
After
just a brief 1-hour consultation on the phone with Pete I noticed
immediate results. Following Pete’s advice, I had a receptionist who had
previously transferred me to voice mail 3 times in a row offer to get me
in touch with someone else in the company who was actually interested
and asked me to send him info. I just had one receptionist give me the
email address of the owner of the company after I explained what I do
using Pete's methods. Every time I've gotten off the phone I've just
laughed at how easy it's become. Pete’s simple and honest approach to
sales struck chord with me and has already produced results.
